Salvation Army Bell Ringing For the past twelve years, the Cayuga County Women’s Republican Club has participated in a friendly competition to benefit the Salvation Army. We ask our members and friends to volunteer their time to be bell ringers outside local businesses to obtain donations in the red kettles. Every Christmas holiday season we raise thousands of dollars and for many years we were the winners of the coveted Bell Ringers Award.
